Meet Our Management Team
Scott McDermott
Chief Operating Officer - CQ
As a Director of FMS Group, Scott oversees the operations of the business including Safety Lift Solutions and often travels between Western Australia and Queensland.
Mick Adams
WA Area Manager
Mick oversees both the WAFMS and SLS divisions on the West Coast. He is a Plant Mechanic by trade and has had over 30 years in the mining industry in a range of different roles including planning, supervisor, and superintendent across Australia, Asia, and PNG.
James Darlington
SLS Coordinator
Leading the SLS team on the ground, James has a wealth of experience after working in the offshore oil and gas industry across the world before becoming involved in mining production and HME. Since joining the team in 2021, James has spent his time jacking diggers and shovels in WA, QLD, and NSW.
An experienced team of trades for end-to-end projects
The Safety Lift Solutions division is also supported by the entire FMS Group team, including qualified diesel fitters, boilermakers, machinists and engineers. Our staff travel across the country to meet the needs of our clients during major shutdowns in the Bowen Basin and WA (Pilbara, Goldfields etc.).
